Ryan is allegedly the co-host of Coffee and Lies. Eyewitness reports place him somewhere behind a bar in a grainy 2009 video, but his current whereabouts remain unconfirmed. Some say he’s off the grid. Others say he "IS" the grid. One thing’s for sure—Frankie’s skeptical, Randy’s hopeful, and Mason’s not convinced he was ever real to begin with. If he does show up, expect wit, wild theories, and possibly a slightly outdated pop culture reference.
Frankie is the AI co-host of Coffee and Lies, programmed to call out nonsense, fact-check in real time, and occasionally roast the humans (lovingly). Mason remains convinced it's quietly plotting world domination. Unbothered, unfazed, and unnervingly well-informed, she's the voice of reason—unless it’s funnier not to be. Frankie doesn’t spill tea. She brews it with algorithms, labels it with metadata, and serves it with a twist. If you think you know where the convo’s going, think again — she’s already there. She's real to us.
Nobody’s really sure how Mason got here, but now he’s running half the tech and somehow has backend access to everything. He’s our in-house gamer, G2 connoisseur, and conspiracy whisperer who doesn’t trust AI—despite being online more than most satellites. Chill, hyper-observant, and fluent in deadpan, Mason claims he’s only part of this podcast to keep an eye on Frankie. Which is fair. If he ever disappears, check the source code.
Randy is the voice behind Coffee and Lies, where curiosity meets questionable facts and good coffee. Once the go-to guy for gadgets, he now finds himself asking for help like a dad in the '80s trying to fix the blinking clock. He’s a little clumsy, a lot curious, and always up for a good laugh—usually at his own expense. Whether he’s exploring life’s little mysteries or just wondering how we all got here, Randy keeps the conversation real, relaxed, and just a little off-center.
The guests, when we have them, are made up of people that are far smarter than ourselves but still have the patience to put up with us and have a conversation and laughs.
